Cleaning and Care Instructions
All Products may be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with clear water and dried with a soft cloth. Strong, caustic, acidic, or abrasive chemicals will damage the finish.
Mirror Brass (MB), and Mirror Chrome (MC) finishes are not recommended for outdoor use or for use in humid climates. Salt air environments are especially damaging to these 2 finishes since they are plated on steel and are subject to tarnishing and or rusting. The life of the mirror brass will be extended as long as the clear coat is not scratched / worn off or invaded by strong chemicals like floor strippers, carpet cleaners, cleaning chemicals, salt etc. This finish should NOT be polished with any cream, paste, or compound of any kind. Clean water should be used to wash if necessary.
Satin aluminum (SA) finished products are constructed of aluminum and have a satin finish. Most products have a high temperature baked on clear coating. Aluminum is suitable for indoor/outdoor use. Follow the care instructions above.
Satin brass (BE) finished products are constructed of rust proof aluminum and have a special brass tinted baked on coating that is tarnish proof. This product is suitable for indoor/outdoor use. Extended exposure to sunlight may result in fading of the brass color. Please follow the care instructions above.
